For all who have patiently awaited the dawn of a new more environmentally conscious day in Austin, you will be happy to know that the clean energy movement begins this weekend! Starting on October first, civic departments will no longer purchase non-renewable energy, but will instead receive all electricity from Austin Energy’s Green Choice program. Big changes are around the corner as up until currently, more than eighty percent of Austin’s city buildings had yet to make the MOVE OVER TO RENEWABLE ENERGY.
