It is difficult just to think about moving without money but there you go – you are at the point of planning a move without having sufficient finances to cover the upcoming expenses. So, here comes the question: what do I do? Sometimes it is possible to make a plan on how to relocate without any money and with the proper advice from experienced moving professionals you can do it as well. Here are some great ideas on how to move away with no money.
Do Not Give Up Just Yet!
If you can avoid moving out without money do it. It is not pleasant to try to plan so many details around a move with empty pockets, always looking for another way to do whatever you want to accomplish. Try looking for a job before your move so you can ensure a way to cover your expenses after the relocation. Arrange some interviews, if you can, even if they be only on the phone, it is still a step ahead worth taking. Bigger cities take more time to find employment so you should do everything you can. You can even arrange a few interviews to take per one day, make a trip to where you will be moving to and go to the interviews – all on one day. A very useful way to increase your chances of getting a job is to go give your CV yourself at the company you wish to apply. It is much easier for firms to hire someone they’ve already seen and interacted with, and have impressions of, rather than someone they’ve just seen on a photo. Makes sense, doesn’t it?

No Shame In Looking For Help!
Life is changeable and so is the financial state we are in. If you don’t have sufficient finances to organize your move, you can go around the issue by looking for help. Relocating with little money or no money at all may be avoidable. Think about this:
If you have friends who recently moved, ask them to help you with the packing supplies that are left from their relocation.
1.Can you talk to your parents or other relatives? Our parents are always those who love us and support us unconditionally, so if you can turn to them, that’d be great. There is no way to be sure that something like this can never happen to you so if it does and you find yourself (almost) penniless, turn to your folks. You can ask them to give you a loan and give it back as soon as you can. If they cannot help you with a loan, you can ask them for assistance with the moving process. They could help you with the packing, loading the vehicle, arranging the moving truck/ van/ trailer/ etc. and so on. Think about what you need and discuss it with them. How can they help you? What can they do?
2. Colleagues, friends, relatives, neighbors. Here is their chance to prove that you are a good friend to them or to return to you the favor they owe you. Or to just be nice and helpful with you. Can they lend you money? Do they have packing supplies they don’t need and be willing to give them to you? Perhaps you have neighbors who recently moved – do they have spare moving supplies to give to you? This is a great deal for everybody – they get rid of unwanted boxes and packing paper, and you get free packing materials! Do you have a friend with a van/ trailer who can help you with the loading and transportation?
You can ask your friends to help you pack instead of paying movers!
3. Consider well.
Moving out without money is possible with very, very good organization and planning, but is it really worth the time and effort? Imagine having to plan every detail up to the smallest one by yourself, and spending a lot of time on it. Can you find other ways to handle the situation like saving money during the move or in advance? Do not underestimate the stress which you will put on yourself and your family if you have to move without money. It is advisable to look for ways to avoid it, if possible.
